Compaq Presario
If you are searching for not only
performance based laptops computers, but value in a
laptop as well, looks no further than the Compaq
Presario laptop computer series of notebooks. Starting
at fewer than 5 hundred dollars, this line represents an
exceptional value in an era when most honest laptop
computers are still priced at over a thousand. Compaq
laptop computers have a long history of producing
quality laptop computers, so it comes as no revelation
that the corporation has done things right with this
particular series.
The Presario comes two main varieties
in laptop computers, the laptop 3000 model and the
laptop 6000 model, the main difference between the two
laptops being the size. The 3000 laptop series comes
with an approximately fourteen inch liquid display
screen display, and the laptop 6000 series has an
approximately fifteen inch display. Consequently, the
weight of Compaq laptop is different between the two as
well, with the laptop 3000 model weighing in at approx
five pounds, and the laptop 6000 model at approximately
5.84 to 6.6 pounds. Certainly there are smaller laptop
computers out there that essentially weigh around just 4
pounds, but the weight range for the Presario laptop
computers is not too dreadfully heavy that it would make
much of dissimilarity, especially in this price
assortment.
In the middle of these two series of
laptops, each has a “Z” and a “T” model, the
differentiation being the maker of the processor. The
entry level arrangement of both the laptop V6000Z model
and the laptop V3000Z model features a Mobile AMD
Sempron 3400+ processor, clocking in at 1.8 gigahertz,
and the laptop V6000T model and laptop V3000T model
contain an Intel Celeron M 430 that runs at 1.73
gigahertz. These are absolutely not the best ever chips
obtainable today, but they are prefect for basic
computing requirements such as home office applications,
internet browsing, and emailing. Another time, at these
prices, it is hard to criticize about a lack of power in
the chipset.
And if more computing power is
needed, it is possible to go all the way up to a Turion
64 X2 in the Z laptop series, and an Intel Core 2 Duo
T7200 in the laptop T series, both running at 2.0
gigahertz. This is an enormous development due to the
dual core configuration in laptop computer of both of
these processors, but note that this option can really
drive the price of the laptop computer into the
stratosphere.
So, if you are looking for an immense
value in a laptop computer for basic computing needs,
you can not beat the price of the Compaq Presario laptop
computer. As a high presentation laptop computer with
all of the upgrades and add-ons, the Presario laptop is
average, but its low price in the basic arrangement
makes this laptop model an outstanding buy. |
