Sony

originally 1 of the first laptop computers to contain a DVD player, Sony’s Vaio has undergone much change since its foreword in the late 90’s. These days, there are 8 different laptop computers models to select from, from the tiny UX to the huge and powerful AR version.

The UX Micro Personal Computers looks more like a PDA than laptop computers, but it is essentially a fully functioning Personal Computer that runs Windows XP Professional. It has an approximately five inch screen, a built in wireless network card, and also a wireless WAN adapter that allows the consumer to access the internet through a payment to Consular.

A bit larger than the UX laptop but still very moveable, the TX laptop series is the minimum true laptop computers that Sony offers. The focus with this laptop computers model is on battery life, as it combines modern Sony laptop battery technologies with a short voltage central processing unit from Intel to raise the amount of time a consumer can work exclusively from batteries. This laptop computers model is for a consumer on the go, who needs a full sized keyboard, yet requirements the portability of a PDA.

On the other end of the range, Sony offers bigger laptop computers with wide monitors for the ultimate multimedia experience. The FE laptop computers series comes with an Intel Centrino central processing unit and up to two GB of memory, along with a dual-layer DVD burner. And at approximately 16 inches, the widescreen display proposes a very good view of video and movies. This laptop computers model is a compromise between accurate presentation and price, as it begins at a very reasonable cost.

The AR, on the other hand, is Sony’s top laptop computer offering in multimedia computers. It comes with a seventeen inch screen, and its DVD burner also has support for Bull Ray on a few versions. It also has additional memory and hard drive space than the FE, allowing for more computing power and bigger files. This laptop computers model comes at a steep cost, but if you are looking for high powered multimedia presentation, you should look no further.

Vaios are available at most major laptop computers and electronics sellers and cheap Sony notebooks can frequently be found online at public sale and classifieds sites, where Sony laptop parts can also be purchase if you already have a Vaio, see if your battery is covered by the Sony laptop battery recall. If it is, you can send away for a free alternate battery for your Sony laptop.
